“During medical school I kept an open mind about other specialties but only one week into my last rotation in Pediatrics, I knew I would be happiest as a pediatrician. I enjoy seeing a variety of age ranges, from babies and offering the parents guidance to comforting toddlers who may have stranger danger, to joking with school aged children, and playing a part in helping adolescents in what can be a challenging transition from childhood to young adulthood.

A native of Chula Vista, I live close to home and enjoy spending time with my parents and younger brother. We like to eat together as a family, walk our dog, and watch movies. I like to ride my motorcycle (always safely with a helmet, gloves, and jacket!), play pickleball, and catch up with friends. I love spending time with the family dog, reading and visiting former teachers to talk to their students about my journey to becoming a doctor as well as other opportunities in healthcare.”
