“When I was 3 years old, I was diagnosed with leukemia. Growing up I always said I wanted to become a pediatrician so I could form close bonds with my patients just like I had with my pediatricians. My favorite part about pediatrics is how close I get with not only my patients but their families. I love getting to watch patients grow, some of whom I have followed from birth.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and my large Romanian family (I’m a proud auntie to my niece and nephew). As a family, we enjoy traveling, playing board games, swimming, and hiking. I grew up in Corona but I love exploring new areas and trying new foods!”
