“I have been a pediatrician for 22 years, and I enjoy being a part of my patients’ lives, watching them grow and develop. Following families over time and developing relationships with their families is very rewarding.

I’m married with a 16 year-old daughter. We have a Shiba Inu named Kona. We love to vacation in Hawaii. In my spare time, I like to jog and enjoy art and painting. I volunteer with Girl Scouts and with Rose Again Foundation, a local program that provides services to foster children in our community.”

Dr. Abjelina chose pediatrics because she enjoys taking care of children and their families and making a difference in their lives. Her philosophy of care centers on listening and partnering with her patients and their parents to prevent health problems and to give the best possible care when problems arise. She believes one of the most important ways to protect a child's health is to make sure that they receive all recommended vaccines on time. She enjoys jogging and taking walks with her dog, Kona, window shopping with her daughter, spending time with family, and traveling to relaxing places.
