"After graduating from Baghdad University Medical School, I gained valuable experience in various medical disciplines while working and training in Baghdad, Iraq. I later moved to Jordan where I worked in primary care. Seeking new opportunities, I immigrated to the United States and completed my pediatric residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. Upon finishing my training, I worked as a general pediatrician in Michigan serving young patients from diverse backgrounds in underserved communities. I then relocated to San Diego to join Kaiser Permanente, and, now at Health Avenue Pediatrics, I currently provide pediatric care, educate parents, and develop customized care plans.

Throughout my career, I have strived to treat my patients with the same dedication and compassion as I would my own family. Collaborating closely with my patients and their families has helped me better understand and serve the needs of my community."
