Dr. Winter graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and also completed his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha – Medical Honor Society (Top 10% of class).

He believes in working with parents as partners in optimizing their children's physical and emotional development through education, nutrition, exercise, vaccines, and selective use of tests and medications.

Dr. Winter was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is married and has 3 children. He enjoys playing basketball and still surfs when he isn't driving his kids to their constant horse riding and basketball activities.
