“I didn’t know I was going to become a pediatrician until my pediatrics rotation in medical school. Working with kids and families just put a smile on my face and at the end of the day I knew I wouldn’t have as much fun in any other specialty. I love to help people learn and I love that pediatricians are in a unique position to make a difference early on. I also have a passion for mental health, LGBTQ+ and gender affirming care, and I knew becoming a pediatrician would go a long way in helping adolescents have guidance and access to care.

In my spare time, I love hiking in the mountains and longs walks on the beach, but I am also a huge homebody. I can spend hours at home reading books and have found favorites in sci-fi, fantasy, mystery/suspense, gothic horror, queer lit, and YA. I also dabble in video games and being a plant mom. My parents are nearby and we regularly meet up for dinners and hikes. I’m also very close with my sister, who has grown out of the annoying little sister role and is now my gaming buddy.”
