“I decided to be a pediatrician at age 10. I have always had a love for science and a desire to help others. While in medical school, I considered other specialties such as anesthesia and family medicine, but found I was happiest when working in pediatrics. Getting to know families over the years and watching their children grow up and blossom is one of the most rewarding parts of being a pediatrician.

I have three children and we love spending time together as a family on local adventures, doing crafts or games at home, playing sports and enjoying time with friends and family. I enjoy listening to comedy, music, and reading. I suppose laughing is one of my favorite pastimes! Eating delicious food is also one of my favorite hobbies!”
