"I love working with babies, kids, teenagers and young adults as well as parents and families. Kids are playful and a joy to be around. They make work fun and meaningful.

Taking care of pediatric patients is a collective team effort with families and parents. I grew up playing team sports and value the benefit of having multiple ways of thinking and varied strengths among team members. I’ve learned so much from my patients and their families that has made me a better doctor.

Living on a ranch, I have over 30 animals that I care for. I love spending time with my goats, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, tortoise, and birds. They remind me of kids: they are brilliant, full of love, and find joy in the simplest of things.

In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, hiking, camping, and playing board games with friends. I also enjoy renovating rooms and building new structures for my animals. I also volunteer for a large animal and equine fire evacuation group.”
