"One of the most rewarding things about being a pediatrician is getting to know kids and parents and what they get involved in. Seeing their progress over time... I like all aspects of pediatrics, especially the newborns and the babies. They're fun to be around, fun to see the parents so excited."

Dr. Ambo and his wife have two children and a dog, and they enjoy long daily walks and the dog park with their pup. He also was once a volunteer firefighter.
